CPE6018   Challenging Industries - An Industry-led Enterprising Project   (15 credits)

Description

This module consists of an industry set project which will enable students to experience first-hand the challenges facing today¿s biotech businesses. Specifically it will focus on the key transferable skills that industry consider important in employing chemical and biological engineers. It will equip students with skills required by today¿s businesses, namely: project management, communication, decision making and problem solving. This module is offered to MSc students, who will visit a biotech business where they will be set a challenge, hear from business speakers on how to overcome such challenges and utilise their own technical skills to make recommendations.
